Marketing Associate
Overview
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to help tell the story of our work - elevating founders, spotlighting investors, and capturing the momentum of our growing community. You’ll support the development of our newsletter, LinkedIn presence, and event communications, helping us amplify access to early-stage capital and build a distinct voice for innovation in the DMV.
This is a volunteer role, but one with real responsibility and visibility. Perfect for someone with an eye for storytelling, a pulse on startups, and a desire to strengthen local ecosystems through narrative and brand.
What You Bring
A sharp sense of clear, structured, and memorable storytelling
Fluency with content tools (Canva, Substack, Mailchimp, etc.)
Interest in early-stage startups, investing, or tech ecosystems
Editorial instinct - what to say, when to say it, and how to make it resonate
Appreciation for design, visual polish, and detail-oriented execution
