Fellowship Program Manager
Overview
District Angels is seeking a dedicated Fellowship Program Manager to oversee and enhance our fellowship program aimed at empowering aspiring investors in the DC startup ecosystem. As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing program initiatives, recruiting and selecting fellows, and providing mentorship and support throughout their fellowship journey. This role is ideal for someone passionate about entrepreneurship, community building, and creating opportunities for people to enter the venture capital space.
This is a volunteer role, but one with real influence over how our community feels and functions. Ideal for someone who wants to strengthen investor engagement, shape thoughtful group culture, and be at the heart of DA’s inner workings.
What You Bring
Experience in program management, preferably in a startup incubator, accelerator, or similar entrepreneurial environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with other fellows, founders, and other industry professionals.
Organizational abilities to manage program logistics, schedules, and resources effectively.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities to innovate and improve program outcomes.
Experience or interest in learning how to perform due diligence for early-stage investments.
Basic concepts of the venture capital space.
